International Preparatory Academy is looking for a Toddler Lead Teacher to join our growing team. No childcare experience is required—we provide training for individuals who have the right attitude, a love for children, and a willingness to grow professionally.

- Encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.

- Follow daily schedules and licensing guidelines.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to complete required state training (provided).

What You'll Do
Specific Responsibilities:
Toddler Teacher
- Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
- Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
- Mediating conflict between students.
- Modeling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
- Liaising with families to gain insight into students' home lives.
- Tracking and informing parents of students' progress.
- Attending parent and staff meetings.
Requirements
Responsibilities:

- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
- Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or equivalent-Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in a classroom.
- Minimum of Technical Childcare Certificate (TCC)
- Commute to Decatur, GA (30035) required.
- In-person work.
