Landry's Bicycles in Braintree, MA is hiring a Store Manager to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $50,000 – $75,000/Yr and requires relevant professional experience.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Store Manager (SM) plays a pivotal role in driving Landry's success, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to set the company's direction and growth. Their primary responsibility is to lead their team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while collaborating with other key leaders to achieve business success. The SM is accountable for creating a best-in-class experience for customers and fostering a culture of exceptional service.

What You'll Do
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & JOB DUTIES:
- Serve the greater good by leading with integrity
- Create and maintain a consistently excellent hospitality culture within the store
- Set direction for staff to meet the diverse needs of our customers
- Drive profitability and achieve set goals
- Nurture a strong relationship with the Service Manager to meet service goals
- Effectively manage budget, staff payroll, and administrative duties
- Ensure operational duties are carried out efficiently and on time
- Develop and implement a staffing schedule for store employees
- Ensure effective merchandising practices to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Hire and onboard new staff members
- Train and develop both new and experienced staff
- Conduct regular individual performance feedback meetings
- Manage incentives, pay, and employee recognition
- Make personnel decisions when necessary for the good of the store
- Address people issues directly, engaging in difficult conversations when needed
- Communicate effectively and keep staff informed
- Identify and communicate individual strengths and weaknesses to subordinates
- Develop a succession plan for key roles and work towards its implementation
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained store environment
- Contribute to corporate leadership and direction-setting

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 65 pounds
- Able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in bike shop leadership, preferably within Landry's organization
- Passion for cycling and the bicycle industry
- Ability to communicate effectively and teach others
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage staff
- Excellent communication skills for internal and customer interactions
- Knowledge of the bicycle industry, its products, and accessories
- Ability to solve problems in dynamic and ever-changing environments
- Effective presentation and questioning skills for employees and customers
