Early Childhood - Substitutes
About This Role
Looking for people interested in substituting in a well-established early childhood program. Must be willing to complete a few online workshops, get an online certification in CPR/Basic First Aid, and pass a background check - to include fingerprinting.

What You'll Do
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing the planned activities for the day
Assist the classroom teacher in keeping the classroom clean, tidy, and organized
Assist the classroom teacher in keeping all students safe and happy
Requirements
Be able to come in on short notice when staff calls out
Be flexible with your work schedule
Love working with young children ages 18 months to 5 years old
Be able to interact with young children in a patient, loving, positive manner
About Lawrence School for Young Children
The Lawrence School for Young Children is a 5-star early childhood facility (in Vermont's STARS program) serving up to forty 0-5-year-olds each day for the past 40 years in the Manchester/Dorset area. All of our staff are college graduates; two are licensed early childhood educators through the VT DOE. LSYC also participates in the state's UPK program, offering free preschool hours for all 3-4-year-olds.
