About This Role
This Lead Teacher position at Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC requires no formal early childhood credentials to start, which aligns directly with TN's state regulatory frameworks for center-based setting facilities. Operating within the Infant / Toddler (0–2) group in Hermitage, this role offers a localized wage structure of $15 – $17/Hr.

L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for an energetic Infant Teacher to join our team! Ages in this specific classroom typically are 6 weeks-12 months old. Each teacher has a set schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm. This position has a typical schedule of 8-5p M-F.

What You'll Do
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for infants
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, tummy time etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social skills and build on milestones
- Guide children to develop their social/emotional and developmental capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum / play
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Engage in teaching / play at the children's level
- Collaborate with other educators
- Work independently
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Requirements
This position is immediate hire with the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, providing 3 references, and a physical. Applicants must have a copy of their HS diploma at a minimum. Experience teaching in childcare centers and knowledge of DHS rules with at least one year previous teaching experience preferred. All applicants will receive substantial on the job training once hired.
