What You'll Do
Immediate opening for a toddler room teacher, ages 9 months-18 months
- Supervising daily activities for the classroom
- Planning and carrying out lesson plans/curriculum
- Interact with children and parents
- Maintain a clean and orderly classroom
- Show up at your scheduled time
- Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success
- Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills
- Developing schedules and routines
- Creating and leading a supportive, nurturing learning environment that encourages responsibility and motivation
Requirements
- Lead qualified
- Must be physically, mentally, and emotionally able to provide responsible care for all children
- Completed high school diploma
- CPR and First Aid Certified, or be willing to obtain
- Positive attitude
- Experience working with children
- Wisconsin Registry Certification or the ability to obtain
- Infant and Toddler Certification or the ability to obtain
Nice to Have
- Associates Degree if Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a relevant field, or in the process of obtaining.
