About This Role
Seeking a caring and dedicated Substitute Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our Christian preschool ministry. We are passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
What You'll Do
- Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged.
- Assist and Support the Classroom Lead Teacher.
- Partner with parents and guardians in supporting each child’s growth and faith journey.
- Ensure classroom safety and uphold policies that provide a secure, nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers to uphold the mission and values of our preschool ministry.
Requirements
- Attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge.
- Love for Christ and a passion for teaching young children.
- Prior experience in early childhood education or preschool setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to integrate Christian values into daily classroom activities.
- CPR/First Aid
