Spanish Preschool Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in East Point, GA. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and multilingual learning environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. You will play a key role in bridging communication between the school, students, and families.

What You'll Do

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that promote bilingual language development.
• Provide individual and small-group support to children during learning, playtime, and meal routines.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families, translating classroom updates and progress reports when necessary.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting observations back to the lead teacher.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare facility or classroom setting.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting required by the state of Georgia.
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with Georgia Bright from the Start rules and regulations.
