What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and managing classroom routines.
- Child Supervision: Provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest times.
- Engagement & Play: Get down on the floor to engage children in play-based, sensory-rich learning activities.
- Care & Hygiene: Assist with personal care needs, including diapering, toileting, and promoting good hygiene habits like handwashing.
- Environment Maintenance: Help keep the classroom organized, clean, and safe for all students.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Nice to Have
- Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children (1 year preferred).
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- A basic understanding of child development and positive behavior support strategies.
- Traits: Patience, creativity, dependability, and strong communication skills.
