About This Role
Part-Time School Bus Driver (Field Trips Only)
We are seeking a reliable and responsible School Bus Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to transport children (ages 4–12) for weekly field trips.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Once a week (day varies based on field trip schedule)
- Location: [Your School/Center Name & Location]
- Hours: Part-time / as needed
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children and staff to and from field trip locations
- Follow all traffic laws and school transportation safety regulations
- Ensure children are safely seated and secured during transit
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe bus environment
- Communicate effectively with school staff
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving a school bus or transporting children preferred
- Must pass fingerprinting and background check (required due to working with children)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Additional Information:
- Teachers/staff will accompany all trips
