About This Role
MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios is seeking experienced Hardwood Flooring Subcontractor Installers to join our team. We are looking for skilled professionals with proven expertise in hardwood installation methods, including glue down/full spread and staple down applications. The ideal candidate understands proper acclimation processes, delivers top-quality craftsmanship, and maintains a clean and professional job site. Please note: sanding and finishing are not required for this role. We have locations in Medina, North Olmsted and Akron. Installers will be required to travel in and around these areas.
- Pay Structure: Subcontractor position paid by piece work (rate varies by project type and scope).

What You'll Do
- Install hardwood flooring using glue down/full spread and staple down methods.
- Follow proper acclimation procedures to ensure quality installations.
- Perform accurate measurements, layouts, and cuts for seamless results.
- Maintain daily and final job site cleanup to professional standards.
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient work practices on all projects.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hardwood flooring installation.
- Strong understanding of glue down/full spread and staple down installation methods.
- Knowledge of proper acclimation processes for hardwood materials.
- Reliable transportation and own set of professional tools.
- Must have a reliable vehicle capable of hauling materials.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must carry active business insurance and vehicle insurance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
