About This Role
We are seeking a part-time PreK teacher at our Concord location, 15-18 hours per week during the school year. Preferred hours are 9:00-12:00, M-F, with separate planning time.
What You'll Do
This teacher will create and implement a play based, developmentally appropriate curriculum to help prepare children for entering public school.
Requirements
- knowledge of the NH Kindergarten Readiness Indicators and the NH Early Learning guidelines
- knowledge of NH Child Care Licensing regulations
- Associate's degree, or the equivalent in credits or experience, in early childhood education
- knowledge of play-based curriculum and strong class management skills
- energy, patience, and a good sense of humor
- reliable
Nice to Have
- knowledge of pyramid model
- knowledge of Ages and Stages Developmental Rating Scale
- willingness to interact with area public school as needed to best meet the needs of the child
