New Morning Schools - School Age Team Member

What You'll Do

As a member of our team, your duties will include:

• Maintaining a safe environment for children and staff.
• Guiding positive behavior in children.
• Greeting parents and children daily and making them feel welcome.
• Supporting new staff members in their roles.
• Attending regular staff meetings to stay informed and collaborate with colleagues.
• Following daily staff assignments and contributing to the smooth operation of the program.
• Communicating with our office team as needed to ensure seamless support.
• Being flexible and willing to cover shifts at other locations when necessary.

Requirements

Here are the requirements for each position:

• Assistant Group Leaders - no experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential!
• Group Leaders and Program Administrators - 600 hours of experience working with children or 3 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Education (EDU) are necessary.
• Site Directors and Site Coordinators - 1000-2000 hours of experience, combined with 6-12 college credits in ECE/EDU, or an associate's degree or higher in Education or Recreational fields, are required.

Nice to Have

• 1-2+ years of experience working with school-age children would be a great asset!
• We'll train you in CPR and First aid if you're not currently certified - but it's a bonus if you already have these skills!
