What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children.
• Lead circle time, story time, STEAM activities, and educational play.
• Support children’s early literacy, math, science, and social skills.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
• Create engaging hands-on learning activities that encourage curiosity and creativity.
• Maintain a structured daily routine including play, learning, and rest periods.
• Collaborate with staff to support children’s developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with the director and staff regarding children’s progress and activities.
• Potty training/ daiper change/

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children.
• Strong ability to plan lessons and educational activities.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented childcare environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Background clearance required according to New York childcare regulations.
• Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED

• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum development.
• Experience with STEAM activities, art, and creative learning.
• Ability to adapt lessons for multiple age groups.
