Nurse Julie's Daycare in Cincinnati,, OH is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher to work with Mixed / All Ages in a family child care environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

What You'll Do
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Create safe and engaging learning environment
- Monitor and assess developmental growth
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about child’s progress
- Organize activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development and learning
- Maintain compliance with all state and company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to cook meals in home daycare setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with staff and parents
Nice to Have
- 1 (one) year of early childhood development knowledge
- The ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice
- Experience with classroom management techniques

Our role is to guide children from needing assistance with completing tasks to enable them to their independence.
Another important aspect of the program is that we highly value parental/family involvement in the lives of our children. Parental/family involvement is critical because it enhances child development, improves academic performance, and empowers families. Families are encouraged to provide suggestions about the program and to participate in program activities. Families are also welcome to come and read to the children, go on field trips, or participate in other fun projects. Families play the most vital role in their child's cognitive development. By working together, the optimum development for child(ren) will be achieved.
