Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia teaching certification (required for Pre-K through 12th grade positions)
- Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to student growth
Nice to Have
CDA or TCC required for Lead Teacher positions
Experience working with a range of early childhood age groups, from Infant through Pre-K
Flexible availability to meet classroom and program needs
Strong classroom management skills with an emphasis on structure, safety, and nurturing care
Peachtree Academy (Pre-K–12)
Current, up-to-date teaching certification
Experience using interactive classroom technology, including whiteboards and Promethean boards
Working knowledge of FACTS / RenWeb for grading, attendance, and student records
Experience using digital PlanBook, Epic, Prodigy, Kahutes!, Plan Book, Brain Pop, Claa DoGo, NearPod or similar lesson planning platforms
Technically savvy, with the ability to adapt to new educational software and tools

About Peachtree Prep, our Early Childhood Division
The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
