What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying shop standards to the assembly of bikes.
- Meeting or exceeding shop production standards.
- Assembling new bicycles and preparing them for sale.
- Installing, repairing, and replacing equipment or accessories.
- Aligning wheels, installing new tires and tubes, and cleaning and lubricating bicycle parts.
- Ordering bicycle parts and building wheels by cutting and threading new spokes.
- Installing vehicle parts or accessories and adjusting vehicle components according to specifications.
- Performing other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees.
- Previous bike assembly experience or equivalent preferred.
- Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Interest in developing own skills and knowledge.
