What You'll Do
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and providing tailored recommendations to meet their cycling goals.
- Providing personalized and enthusiastic customer service, exceeding customer expectations at every touchpoint.
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge, including current sales and promotions, to ensure seamless transactions and expert guidance.
- Ensuring the store is always tidy and well-organized, with merchandise presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Assisting customers with product demonstrations, fitting, and other in-store needs.
- Receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient merchandise management.
- Supporting cash handling, including operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate change.
- Occasionally lifting 40 pounds, with the ability to perform other physical tasks as required.
Requirements
We're seeking a Retail Sales Associate with:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a retail sales environment.
- Previous bike shop sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- A strong interest in working collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales through service.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and transactions.
