Robin’s Place Childcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Instructional Assistant to support our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. What You'll Do
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Support classroom management by ensuring a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, music, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and transitions.
- Observe and document children’s progress, assisting with assessments as needed.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to help meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework is a plus.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
- Ability to work patiently, positively, and effectively with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet all state licensing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and TB testing.
