Bilingual Daycare Manager
About This Role
Based in Fort Worth, this support staff member opening at Shining Scholars Preparatory Academy pays $16 – $20/Hr and requires a willingness to earn a CDA, with full program support provided.
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Bilingual Daycare Manager to lead the daily operations of our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children while building strong relationships with families and staff. This leadership position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to supervise employees, and knowledge of childcare licensing regulations.

What You'll Do
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare center.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.
- Maintain accurate children's records, attendance, and staff documentation.
- Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking families regarding enrollment, child development, and daily activities.
- Handle parent concerns professionally and maintain positive family relationships.
- Assist with enrollment, tours, and registration of new families.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate classroom ratios are maintained.
- Monitor classrooms to ensure quality care and educational programming.
- Plan and coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
- Manage supplies, inventory, and purchasing.
- Support curriculum implementation and promote school readiness.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Previous childcare management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet all licensing requirements.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Director Credential.
- Experience with state-funded childcare or Pre-K programs.
- Experience working with diverse and multicultural families.
- Knowledge of child assessment and curriculum planning.
- Bilingual customer service or community outreach experience.
