About This Role

Smokey Point Early Learning Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Marysville. Compensation is $17.50 – $25/Hr. Candidates need no formal early childhood credentials to start.


We are looking for a team player who is energetic, positive and enjoys being in the classroom and working together with others! At SPE we strive for high standards in the ECE community and in doing so making sure we are helping each other meet that standard.

What You'll Do

  • Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment.
  • Engage with children through play-based activities, fostering social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development, classroom activities, and any concerns that arise.

Requirements


  • MERIT Background Check Cleared
  • Childcare Basics 30hrs STARS Completed
  • First Aid and CPR (Willing to obtain ASAP)
  • TB Test (willing to obtain ASAP)
  • MMR Vaccine
  • Food Handlers Card (Willing to obtain ASAP)

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred; classroom experience is essential.
