Lead Teacher

What You'll Do

• Create a warm, loving classroom environment and demonstrate Christian love to children, families,

and staff.

• Plan and implement interactive, hands-on lessons that support each child's learning style and

developmental needs.

• Support social-emotional learning and positive behavior management.
• Supervise students and follow health, safety, licensing, emergency, and child protection

procedures.

• Communicate with families through daily interactions, Brightwheel, and email.
• Complete student assessments, maintain student portfolios, and share lesson plans as requested.
• Work collaboratively with the assistant teacher, Director, Assistant Director, and preschool

staff.

• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
• Participate in school-wide events, fundraisers, classroom set-up, and end-of-year clean-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA certification, or Associate's degree in Early

Childhood Education or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience or the equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, health screening, CPR, and first aid

training.

• Friendly personality and a genuine love for young children.
• Physically and emotionally equipped to carry out classroom responsibilities.
• Willingness to work in a Christian environment and teach Christian values.
