What You'll Do

Responsibilities

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage learning through play and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during classroom and outdoor activities.
• Engage children in interactive activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and social skills.
• Effectively manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress and address any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's developmental milestones to tailor activities to their individual needs.

Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
• Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• Skills in behavior management and classroom management are highly valued.
• Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or infant care is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• A nurturing attitude with the ability to build trusting relationships with children.

Nice to Have

We welcome candidates with:

• 2 years of teaching experience (Preferred)
• 2 years of childcare experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
• Knowledge in Grow NJ Kids

And hold:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
