The Tot Spot in Concord is a licensed child care program looking for on-call SUBSTITUTE Toddler Teachers.
We are seeking nurturing, patient, and gentle individuals to work with young toddlers (1-3 years old) on an on-call/per diem basis.
The program is open 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday thru Friday. You give us your general availability of days and hours and we put you on our on-call substitute list for when our staff/teachers need time off for vacation days, sick time, appointments, etc. Accept or decline work as your schedule permits.
Candidates will preferably have some early childhood education or education credits, but ALL must like working with toddlers and younger children.
Applicants must pass a criminal record and fingerprint check, ALL staff must obtain/have first aid/CPR, and the required NH DHHS Health and Safety trainings in the first 90 days of employment.
The position is offered as a on-call position. This is not a permanent staff position and no benefits are offered.

What You'll Do
Help cover staff days off and staffing vacancies. Provide support to full time teachers. Mentor and work with young children 12 months to 3.6 years old.
Children's daily routine to include meal times, nap, circle time, outside play, choosing works off the shelves and staying engaged, potty training/diapering.
Requirements
Applicants must pass a criminal record and fingerprint check, ALL staff must have first aid/CPR.
Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, squatting, getting up and down off floor, standing, walking, light cleaning duties.
