About This Role
Join Trinity Child Development Center in Knoxville, TN as a Afternoon Classroom Teacher- School Age Program working with School Age (5–12). The role calls for no formal credential — just relevant experience and offers $13.50 – $14.50/Hr to qualified childcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will work with children aged 5-12, Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m. at our childcare center. This is a 5-day per week position.
This role involves working as an afternoon floating classroom teacher, providing care and support to our young students.

What You'll Do
Provide care and supervision to a group of children during afternoon hours, adhering to the daily schedule and following established guidelines.
Assist parents with pick-up and ensure a smooth transition for children.
Light cleaning and organizing at the end of the day to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
Flexibility is key, as the classroom will shift depending on the center's needs.
Ensure adherence to DHS rules and QRIS standards in all aspects of teaching and care.
Requirements
Nice to Have
Previous experience working with children would be a valuable asset.
Additional higher education or training in early childhood education or a related field is a desirable qualification.
