3 Year Old Lead Teacher
About This Role
Trinity Learning Center is looking for a 3 Year Old Lead Teacher to join us for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position has the opportunity to work 2, 3, or 5 days a week from 8:30-2:30. This teacher will be responsible for up to 8 children. We follow all DHS policies and the Knox County School calendar.
Our staff sign contracts for each school year and then there is flexibility to change positions after each school year.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities
Trinity Learning Center is a Christian preschool and will be teaching Christian values as well as academic and social-emotional learning in a play-based setting. We are licensed by DHS and all staff will be expected to meet the highest state standards. Our work day is from 8:30-2:30 with students in class from 9-2 each school day. We follow the Knox County school calendar and closings with a few exceptions. We offer extended care from 8-9 a.m. and 2-3:15 p.m. so opportunities for extra hours may be available if interested.
Lead Teachers are responsible for lesson plans, creating a rich learning environment, classroom management, student assessments, including parent communication and involvement, completing continuing education training hours.
Requirements
Experience with children
Patience, kindness, and a love for children
A positive and team-oriented attitude
Ability to lift 40lbs. and move quickly when needed
Good communication skills
Education in Early Childhood Development or Related degree preferred, but childcare experience will also be considered
Nice to Have
Experience in a DHS/Licensed preschool setting.
