About This Role
Trinity Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic, patient, kind and flexible substitute teachers, who are passionate about young children. We are a Christian, play-based preschool with staff hours from 8:30-2:30.
We are always accepting applications for this role.
What You'll Do
- Follow & implement prepared lesson plans
- Effectively manage classroom responsibilities per TLC & DHS guidelines.
- Provide a safe and loving environment at all times.
- Demonstrate creativity and organization, to add developmentally appropriate activities, as needed.
- Perform daily cleaning duties
Requirements
- Enjoy working with children (previous experience in a child care center is preferred but not necessary)
- Pass background check and health screening.
- Comfortable assisting with bathroom routines, toilet training and diaper changes.
- Positive attitude and work well with others
- Willingness to follow all TLC & DHS policies
- Complete required online trainings prior to first day of work
- Complete continuing education as needed
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a classroom setting
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, M-F
- Infant/Child & CPR certified
