We are a licensed facility that provides care for children from birth through 5 years. We have been in business for 30 years! We began as a single classroom with a vision to offer low-cost, high-quality educational experiences to families in central Columbia. Our program has grown through the years, but we remain dedicated to our mission.


We are currently seeking teachers with specific morning and afternoon availability. 15-25 hours per week. This is a consistent everyday position that could work around your school schedule or another job.

What You'll Do

  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and independence among students.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist with arrivals, dismissal, and transitions between activities.
  • Communicate with parents about students' growth and progress informally, either digitally or in person.
  • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and the safety and security of children.
  • Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
  • Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Must clear full background with MSHP and DESE-OOC

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Prefer an associate's degree or higher in early childhood or related fields.
  • We are willing to HELP with education through the TEACH program.
