About This Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Warwick, NY. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners. You will design and implement a play-based curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten while instilling a lifelong love of learning.

What You'll Do
- Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding their child's development and milestones.
- Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness in compliance with state licensing standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education (Birth-2), or a related field.
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a structured setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Certification Preference:
- NYS Teacher Certification (e.g., Early Childhood B-2, or Students with Disabilities B-2) for UPK classroom or working toward certification.
Nice to Have
- 2+ year early childhood teaching experience
- Experience working with children with special education needs or an understanding of inclusive practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/Child CPR
- MAT certification
