What You'll Do
SERVICE WRITERS
Service Writers are the front-line experts who handle customer check-in/out, diagnose issues, and provide service solutions. They must be knowledgeable about current and older bicycle componentry, including:
- Road, mountain, gravel, and commuter bike drivetrains
- Wheels
- Suspension systems
- Braking systems
- E-bike motors from Shimano, Bosch, Hyena, TQ, and Specialized
- All other bicycle systems from various technological eras
Our Service Writers must have a dynamic personality, positive attitude, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service. They must be able to handle a high volume of customers while providing personalized care and empathy.
SERVICE TECHS
The WRC Service Lab is a dream come true for skilled bicycle mechanics, featuring 16 full-service bays, a dedicated wheel building department, and a fully outfitted mountain bike suspension service room.
BIKE BUILDERS
Our Bike Builders are responsible for assembling new bikes for our sales floor.
- They assemble and tune new bikes to a high standard of quality, with a focus on productivity.
- Their builds range from one-speed children's bikes to road, gravel, and full suspension mountain bikes, as well as e-bikes, custom builds, and cargo bikes.
- Their tasks include running cables, mounting components, true wheels, adjusting brakes and drivetrains, checking bolts, and preparing bikes for ride.
- Experience as a bicycle assembler or mechanic is preferred.

Additional duties and responsibilities:
- Ability to produce high-quality work while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout most of the work shift.
- Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 lbs occasionally and/or up to 35 lbs frequently.
