About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. You will design and implement creative lesson plans that foster curiosity and foundational skills, collaborating closely with families to support each child's unique development.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that align with early childhood education standards.
- Meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Assess and document child development and progress to share with parents.
- Lead daily activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and music.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive South Carolina background check and fingerprinting.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Knowledge of South Carolina ABC Quality standards and regulations.
- • Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting curriculum for varied learning styles.
Nice to Have
Early Childhood Education background experience.
Be willing to enroll in the T.E.A.C.H. program to complete ECD 101, free of charge.
